Mickey Mouse is reduced to right angles and geometric shapes on this clever black-metal pin prototype, which preceded a limited edition of 100 gold-finished pins titled "Mondrian Mouse." Imitating the Neo-Plastic style of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian (1872-1944), this parody is one in a series celebrating classic art with a Disney twist. Developed exclusively by Disney Auctions, only four of these black-metal prototypes were produced.
