Front Description
This Vintage Disneyland pin could be purchased as a souvenir in the early years of the park. It is a sweater pin, which were popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
The pin is made of a silver metal with black etching. Disneyland is written on the front of the castle. The Castle has a clasp style back. The Tinker Bell pin has a push pin backing. On the back of the Castle is written "(c) Walt Disney Prod".
One member adds: "When Disneyland opened in the 1950s, I went there with my family. The park was smaller then and there was a small stage set up somewhere in Disneyland where the Mousekeeters were dancing. They were having try-outs, and Walt Disney wanted me to be a Mousekeeter, but my Dad said no because we lived in Northern California. At that time, Walt bent down and pinned this pin on me. I still have it. My daughter gave me the information about this site so decided to put in the information I have on this pin"
