Front Description
This is the middle pin of pin set #26632. It features what looks like a family crest with shield. The white shield is on a blue background, with red ribbons decorating the top and bottom of the pin. The ribbon on top is printed with Disneyland and the ribbon on the bottom with Ambassador. Above the shield and below the top ribbon is a lion with a front paw raised. At the top of the shield is a small Mickey silhouette. The shield is divided into two parts by a diagonol dark blue sash with two gold fleur-de-lis on it. Above the sash is the Disneyland monogram; below is Sleeping Beauty's castle.
In the language of heraldry, an argent (white) shield indicates peace and sincerity. The bend (sash) signifies protection of the innocent. A castle means safety and security. The fleur-de-lis shows purity and light. The lion (in the passant guardant position) is a symbol of courage. The hidden Mickey does not seem to be listed on the heraldry definition web sites.
