Rocket Rods is one of 67 pins released as a series in 1998 (before pin trading had officially started) to commemorate some of Disneyland's favorite attractions - both present to that time and from the past.
This pin features the Rocket Rods, which replaced the People Mover in 1998 but has since been closed itself. The rainbow-colored ride vehicle faces right and has four Guests in it. "ROCKET RODS" is in purple on a yellow background; below is the yellow Disneyland logo on a maroon background.
This copper-finished pin measures 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) tall by 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) wide. The backstamp reads, "DISNEY."
