Disneyland Hotel Marquee
This pin design is based on the original marquee for the Disneyland Hotel which opened on October 5, 1955 with the addition of the white message board which was added a few years later. Jack Wrather, a friend of Walt Disney, built the Hotel at Walt's request across the street from Disneyland. The Walt Disney Company became the official owner of the hotel in 1988.
Disneyland Marquee
This pin design is based on the original 1958 marquee. This sign was updated in the mid 1960's and replaced with a computer-controlled marquee on October 6, 1989. This Marquee was removed in 1999 to make way for the current sign.
