Front Description
The pins are just like the ones in pin set 10844, but the background picture for this framed set is different. It says AP on the mat in the lower right, presumably meaning Artist Proof. Pin 10844 says there were 250 artist proof sets, but I don't know how many different background pictures were considered. Has Piglet, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger, and Christopher Robin pins. The background picture has trees and a grassy meadow.
[January 2014 comment: This pictured set (and I'm "assuming" the other questionable AP sets) is missing the large honey-gold colored "Winnie the Pooh" Honey Pot pin which was matted below the main picture. My AP frame of #10844 has the honey pot pin and the same background as the one pictured for #10844 and the c Disney stamped in black in the bottom right-hand corner with the Certificate from Disney.]
[2003 comment: The pins in this frame are from Pin 10844: Pooh's Adventure Framed Pin Set and were not a genuine Disney sold frame set. Many of these “AP” sets have been sold on ebay and at local collectible shows. The pins have either been taken out of the other frame and reframed, or are coming from an other source and reframed on a background that comes from various Pooh Disney Cells that can be purchased on ebay. The same seller of these cells has had many of these framed sets up for sale. Along with many other “reframed” pin sets. The AP in the bottom corner is hand written and most times when opened these pins are not AP's but all random numbered pins unlike the matched numbers you get in the original frame. I have this same set of pins framed on another background in C. Disney stamped frame. I have seen the original set Pin 10844 with the pins in various positions.]
