Front Description
Madame Medusa, the evil woman who torments Penny in The Rescuers, is featured on this pin, one of eight pins in the "Disney Villains" framed set (#32619) released during the 2004 "A Family Pin Gathering" event at Walt Disney World.
Medusa faces forward, looking up. Her left hand clutches her face while her right hand grasps the hem of her long red sleeveless dress. She is seen from upper-thigh up. Her hair is bright orange and she has a look of dread on her face.
Disney Design Group Artist Jeff Ebersohl designed this pin. It measures 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) wide and almost 2" (4.9 cm) tall. The reverse has both the 2004 Disney Pin Trading logo and the "A Family Pin Gathering" logo, plus "LIMITED EDITION OF 50, © DISNEY, MADE IN CHINA." As with all the pins in the set, the pin has a short post in the back, presumably to make it easier to use within a frame (no post cap).
