Front Description
Pluto is featured on this special 24-karat gold-plated version of (#17785), part of a Twelve Days of Christmas set released at Disneyland Resort's Premiere Shop.
a six-hour silent auction was held at the Premiere Shop for the last two 12-pin 24K gold-plated sets (the other 10 sets had been sold already), with bidding starting at $695.
The pin is identical to (#17785), with the exception of the 24K gold. The reverse of the pin says, "Disneyland Resort TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - 24K GOLD PLATED LIMITED EDITION 12." It has a double post back.
The pin shows Pluto, center, facing left, with his traditional light green collar. On his tail are five donuts. To his left is a giant light red number 5 frosted donut; behind him is a green donut case with red trim and yellow shelves, with various donuts. The sign on the case reads "Happy Holidays." At the bottom are the words, "Five Golden Rings" in a gold-bordered white banner.
The pin measures approximately 1 1/2" (3.9 cm) wide by 1 3/4" (4.4 cm) tall.
