This is a deluxe paper back book from Japan with dust jacket. It is as close to a hard bound book as you can get and still not be one. ISBN 4-88591-853-7. Publisher: Toho Shuppan 208 pp. Pins and boxed sets, are all reproduced in full color and approx. full sized. Framed sets are reproduced slightly smaller than the originals if they are larger than the book in order to fit them on the page.

There are only 4 pages of Japanese text. The contents pages are in English as are the titles for each category throughout. This is not an encyclopedic reference like Tomart's Guide to Disney Pins and there is very little data provided such as edition size, date of release, etc. There are numerous omissions such as American patriotic pins which is understandable as this is a Japanese book. Retail in the U.S. is about $60 with tax, special order, from Asahiya Bookstores.
