Statue design information: TREY HOYUMPA is an artist, illustrator, web designer, photographer, and graphic designer. An Honors graduate from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in illustration, Trey has a bright painterly style. Describing herself as a "child of the world," she likes to reflect her environment by using bright colors, flowing movements, funny faces, and even festive music. Having designed book covers, posters, CD album art and many other projects, Trey finds inspiration in the cracks and crevices of New York City, in her friends and family, in cultural diversity and in cartoons. "I want to challenge myself and the art world," says Trey, "while making a positive change in society."
