Front Description
This pin is included with Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Tour. Tour cost is $55 per person. The pin commemorates the light that was lit at the Firehouse when Walt was in attendance. The pin has a switch on the side and a replaceable battery. The pin is not limited in number, but very limited to access and distribution. It was originally mailed to participants, but as of July 1, 2005, given at the completion of the tour. The tour and distribution of the pin will end at the conclusion of the Birthday Celebration, in 2006. The part of the Firehouse where Walt would stay is more commonly known as Walt’s apartment. This pin was also distributed to every member of the Adventures by Disney Backstage Magic tour group, after visiting Walt's apartment.
The lamp is teal with a burgundy/red background. The gold frame is scrolls and Mickey heads. The red 'spot' you see in the upper center of the photo, is a very solid bright white light. The red is how it looks when the light is off.
