This pin is given to Cast Members by Liz Boice, who is Senior Vice President of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Merchandise.
I have been told that this pin is awarded to Merchandise Cast Members in recognition of their hard work.
Usually this pin is only given to leaders by Ms. Boice herself, with a letter of Thanks attached.
The pin actually measures 1 3/4" (44 mm) wide by 1 1/8" (28 mm) tall. The background is black with gold lettering, stars and a Mickey head separating the words Leadership and Creativity. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto are in a gold relief pin on pin design. The back of the pin has a high gloss finish with the Official Pin Trading Logo 2004 © Disney, Made in China and the words Recognized By Liz Boice. Ms. Boice's name is engraved in her own handwriting.
