Front Description
This pin was found on eBay and looks like the Green Tinker Bell version # 25298. On closer examination you'll notice a color discrepancy on the background. The original shows a slightly darker yellow than Tinker Bell's dress. In this pin the background has a more striking contrast than the dress and appears to be orange in color. This pin maybe a bootleg or a scrapper pin. FYI scrapper pins come from the original molds but are a reject of some kind. This reject is not authorized by Disney.
If someone has this pin could they please provide some feedback? Unfortunately the eBay dealer who sold this pin was also selling a Red Champion version #38893 and a Lavender version as well. To date, I have not found any color variation with the Lavender pin. But this dealer is known by the research department as a seller of counterfeit, bootleg and scrapper pins
All three pins sold for over $50 bucks and the auctions ended on May 4th at approximately 5:06 PDT. Also be advised, the eBay dealer was using the original pictures found in the "Preview" picture listing and in the auction itself.
