Front Description
This listing is for the boxed jumbo pin with the stained-glass background. There is a separate listing for the smaller open-edition pin. Please check carefully before cataloguing your pin.
One of five boxed MAGIC KINGDOM CASTLE WINDOWS pins created especially for the "Happiest Celebration on Earth", each of which spotlights the castle found in a different Disney Park. The pins were released weekly throughout June 2005, a different pin on each Wednesday of the month. The art for these pins was inspired by the beautiful stained-glass windows located on the front of Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom park in Florida. Linda Flynn, from Disney Design Group, created the artwork for the five pins in this LE750 series.
Each of the oval MAGIC KINGDOM CASTLE WINDOWS pins has a gold frame (pin-on-pin element) with a crown at the top and clear gems on the sides and bottom. Inside the frame is a beautifully enamelled view of one of the Disney Park castles standing against a stained-glass background. At the bottom of the enamelled area is a banner bearing the name of the park in which the castle stands. Each pin is packaged in a blue presentation box with a clear display window.
Released on June 15th, this third pin in the series features the CINDERELLA CASTLE at TOKYO DISNEYLAND in Japan (with Mt Fuji seen behind the castle).
