Front Description
Minnie Mouse is featured in this special 24K gold-plated version of (#17786), part of a 24-karat gold-plated Twelve Days of Christmas series released at Disneyland Resort's Premiere Shop in 2002.
12 sets of the 24-karat version of the pins were available; 10 were sold, and the other two were sold in a six-hour silent auction held at the Premiere Shop. Bidding on the 12-pin sets started at $695.
The pin is identical to pin (#17786), with the exception of the 24K gold. The reverse of the pin says, "Disneyland Resort, TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS, 24K GOLD PLATED LIMITED EDITION 12." It has a double-post.
Minnie (right) pulls a brown wagon with hay and a huge egg with the number 6 on it. On top of the egg, as well as at the lower left, are three geese with red bows. Minnie is dressed in a white-trimmed blue dress and pins shoes and hair bow. Her left hand is extended to the right and she is looking at the two geese in the lower left corner. At the bottom is a white banner with the words "Six Geese a Laying" on it. in gold.
The pin measures 1 1/2" (3.9 cm) tall by 1 3/4" (4.4 cm) wide.
