This was an RSP item available from the Celebrating 50 Years of Magical Memories Event.

 

This vintage piece depicts one of the most recognizable icons in Disney history, the Disneyland Marquee. The marquee was a constant representation of the Park, the Hotel and the Main Entrance. Travelers from near and far always knew when they had arrived, that their adventure was about to begin. And as Walt Disney states on the marquee "To All Who Come To This Happy Place: Welcome!" (this part of the marquee lights up via battery power).

This piece comes complete with three pins which are located in small hinged compartments within the marquee itself. Pins include the Disneyland Train (Fred Gurley), Tinker Bell and a plaque featuring Walt Disney's Opening Day Speech.

Individual pins are: 40111, 40112 and 40113.
