Jiminy Cricket is holding a pencil and his top hat in his hands. The pin measures about 1" by 1" in size and is bronze in color and has Disney on the reverse. 8/25/01 - I originally assumed that this pin was given to recipients of the 1998 Disney Teacher Awards but was recently informed that pins were not given out to recipients of the award that year so this pin may have been part of a "test run". I received this pin in trade with a cast member.
Interesting that the spelling on the 1999 and 2000 pins is Teacherrific with two R's, while on this 1998 pin it is Teacheriffic with two F's. I checked the Mouscars for 1999 and 2000 and they match the corresponding pins. I wonder if the 1998 pin is misspelled, or if Disney changed the spelling that year.
Pins were not awarded at the 2001 Teacherrific Awards making 1998, 1999, and 2000 the only three years a version of this pin was awarded.
