After touring the United States as part of the celebration of Mickey Mouse's 75th Anniversary, 75 unique Mickey Mouse statues will be auctioned by Sotheby's in New York on September 27, 2005. The proceeds from this very special auction will benefit 50 different charities including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
The first 5,000 catalogue orders will also include this free, limited-edition commemorative pin, based on Lenox's "Tuxedo" design, featuring the 75th Anniversary Mickey engraved with edition number and sale information. The cake and the gold oval on the bottom of the statue pin is 3D
