Front Description
This pin features Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck playing fife and drum and holding the American flag in the classic colonial, revolutionary pose used by Disney during the 1976 Bicentennial celebration. Goofy's drum is a washtub, and he's using spoons instead of sticks. The colors are very different than other versions. The quality of this pin is less than PP1216, and the epoxy coating has yellowed with age.
This pin was inspired by the front cover of the July 1939 issue of Mickey Mouse magazine (which sold for $0.10) and has the same artwork.
