Front Description
This is the pin mentioned in the descripion of Pin # 1216 (America on Parade). The size is the same but this pin is finished with dome epoxy and has a clutch back. There are some color differences. Mickey Mouse's feet, Donald Duck's feet and Goofy's pants are brown rather than yellow and the bandana/scarf on Donald's head is red rather than yellow. Gold-finished, patriotic pin.
The pin measures 2" (50 mm) tall by 1 5/8" (40 mm) wide. The back is a straight back with clasp, waffle pattern back and "© DISNEY".
This is not a high quality pin when compared to 1216.
This pin was inspired by the front cover of the July 1939 issue of Mickey Mouse magazine which sold for $0.10 and has the same artwork.
