Commemorate the special 2005 Panama Canal Return Crossing Cruise with this Limited Edition Super Jumbo pin. The Cruise will take place from August 20 through September 3, 2005. This pin will be different than the May 2005 Panama Canal Crossing Super Jumbo Pin (38747). This gold pin is sort of shaped like a Mickey head. Top reads "Disney Cruise Line". There are circles (ears) on both sides with pictures of Sleeping Beauty Castle and Cinderella Castle. In the center of the pin is a cruise ship on the ocean with palm trees on either side. On the bottom of the pin is a red banner/ribbon which reads "Panama Canal Crossing" and the dates of the two cruises on either side.
On this pin, the ship faces the opposite direction from pin 38747 and the banner on the bottom is a different color.

A member adds:
"Cruise Line Cast Members reported that over 500 of these pins were damaged and unable to be sold. Making them an edition size of less than 500."
