Front Description
It is black and has the pin trading logo on it from Disney's Cruise Line (DCL) with Mickey Mouse. Part of Collection 21 of WDW Cast Lanyard Series 3. Released for trade from a DCL Cast Member only and not for sale. Of course, as time passed, these pins became available from other cast members who had traded for them.

Counterfeit pins are characterized by poor color and a lack of detail.
In this pin, the colors are all muted when compared to the authentic version. Where there is blue on the authentic version, this pin has cyan, the red is replaced with magenta, and the yellow is a different shade of yellow, not as bright as on the authentic version.
The lack of detail is most evident when inspecting Mickey’s eyes. This pin does not have the black pupils of the authentic version. Mickey’s eyes are entirely white with no pupils present. The lack of the black pupils in Mickey’s eyes is a common trait among counterfeit versions of Pin Trading Around The World Pins.
[5 Mar 2009 comment: There are plenty of these pins being traded at Downtown Disney and on cast lanyards in the parks. Sure way of telling if it's a fake: Mickey has white eyes (should have black pupils), the hidden Mickey is extremely large (the real one is much smaller), and the pin is just too thick. Ask questions before you trade for this pin.]
