Disney's Little Mermaid, Ariel, is spotlighted on this beautiful gold-finished portrait pin with multilayered "pin-on-pin" design, hand crafted to interpret an original painting by acclaimed Disney artist Eric Robison. Employing a specially inlaid photographic print that reproduces the magnificent background colors for which Eric has become famous and also includes his signature, the pin is a Disney Auctions exclusive in a limited edition of 100 oversize pins and one in a series celebrating famous Disney characters.
The pin is a painting of Ariel's face. It has a gold frame around it with shells engraved into it and a blue inner border.
