Front Description
Captain Hook, the pirate nemesis of Peter Pan, is featured on this pin, one of eight pins in the "Disney Villains" framed set (#32619) released during the 2004 "A Family Pin Gathering" event at Walt Disney World.
Hook smiles as he faces left, his eyes closed and both hands raised (pointer and pinkie fingers extended on his right hand). He is dressed in wine red and has a deep purple hat with very light purple feature. This is a very detailed cut of a pin.
Disney Design Group Artist Jeff Ebersohl designed this pin. It measures 1 7/8" (4.8 cm) wide and slightly larger than 2 1/8" (5.5 cm) tall. The reverse has both the 2004 Disney Pin Trading logo and the "A Family Pin Gathering" logo, plus "LIMITED EDITION OF 50, © DISNEY, MADE IN CHINA." As with all the pins in the set, the pin has a short post in the back, presumably to make it easier to use within a frame (no post cap).
