Jiminy Cricket of Pinocchio fame is one of nine large pins found in a framed set called "Our Favorite Band," one of the sets sold out at the Happiest Pin Celebration on Earth, Sept. 9-11, 2005 at Walt Disney World. It was designed by Martha Widener.
Jiminy, standing forward, holds a triangle instrument in his left hand and a metal bar to strike it in his right hand. He is dressed in a yellow-trimmed red band uniform - including hat with white feather and yellow and red shoes - and has a smile on his face. You can see his tongue and he is looking to the left.
The pin measures slightly more than 1" (2.6 cm) wide and is 1 5/8" (4.1 cm) tall. The back of the pin is unknown, as the set has not been opened.
