From the 1997 Disneyana Convention with the Villains theme. The ONLY way to get this pin was to register for the convention ($1200+) and THEN take one of the $85.00 Disneyana Discoveries classes designed exclusively for ConventionEars (these classes were so limited that they sold out even before the convention began). Maleficent is always defying the laws of nature with her magic, so this pin was given when you took a SCIENCE class. No matter how many Science classes you take, you only get ONE pin. The pin was first given out in 1997.
