Front Description
This dining pin was limited to Annual Passholders who made single food purchase of $30 or more (before tax and after discounts) at selected restaurants throughout DLR. This is pin number 4 in the "5 Decades of Disney Dining" series available to Annual Passholders.
The copy on the inside of the box reads: In 1967, Disneyland Guests were treated to a brand new "out-of-this-world" dining and entertainment experience-the Tomorrowland Terrace. Surrounded by exciting new attractions that zoomed, whirled and launched us to the moon, this futuristic restaurant was extraordinary in itself. Along with walk-up counters that served a galaxy of menu items, the Tomorrowland Terrace featured a dance floor with an innovative, hydraulic bandstand. For dance sets, the bandstand would slowly rise from its subterranean location and the entire area would come alive with colorful lighting and sounds as a live band played the most popular music of the era.
Back then, the restaurant served Moon Burgers and Blast Off shakes, helping to "refuel" Guests for another orbit around the dance floor, a journey through the decades of General Electric's Carousel of Progress, or even a Flight to the Moon! Today, the Tomorrowland Terrace is the home of "Club Buzz".
This pin features Daisy Duck in a red outfit holding a tray of food in her left hand. The Tomorrowland Terrace is behind her.
