The first of six commemorative pins released to celebrate the countdown to and opening of the "Disney's Pin Celebration -- Pins Around Our World" event at EPCOT on 9 Aug 2001. Each of the first five LE2500 dangle pins was released exclusively at a different WDW location during a one-day Countdown event. These pre-event events were held each month from March through July 2001. The sixth pin in the series was released on August 9-12 at WDW's first (of many to come) annual large Pin Trading event. The rectangular dangle on each pin is the same, stating DISNEY'S PIN CELEBRATION AT EPCOT AUGUST 2001 in two lines on a teal background..
