Front Description
This is the pin of Alice. She has Dinah in her lap and is going to place the flower wreath on her head.
From the Framed 7 Pin set #15707 Alice in Wonderland.
The space between Alice's two arms is not cut out. This is normal for the pin in this set.
This pin is a mirror image of a new OE released by DLRP (Pin 75437). If you put the front of each pin together the size and shape is the same.
Differences between the LE (this pin) and the OE (Pin 75437) are as follows:
1) Space between arms in the LE is not cut out, but it is in the OE.
2) LE has two pin backs.
3) flesh tones in OE more peach.
4) dress in LE is more blue-grey, dress in OE is brighter blue.
5) in OE, only bow in hair ribbon is black, the rest of the ribbon is gold. In LE, entire ribbon is black.
6) hair color in LE distinctly different shade of yellow than in OE.
7) in OE, all flowers in wreath are white with yellow centers, in LE flowers are different pastel colors.
8) all colorings in Dinah are a distinctly different shade in the LE than they are in the OE.
9) as expected, backstamp info is different.
This pin is 1 3/4" wide X 1 7/8" tall.
Back of pin:
2 posts, diagonally spaced, the top one behind the Alice's neck, and the bottom one below Dinah.
Gold-finished. Back is waffled except where the copyright info is.
