Beautiful framed animation study of Ariel. The set consists of three oversize pins: Ariel, Sebastian and Flounder. In addition, there is a fourth pin in the lower corner representing the DCA Animation Building logo.
As a background to the pins, there are a series of sketches of Ariel and her two good friends (especially appealing is a wave sketch on which the Sebastian pin sits).
This wonderful set is limited to 2001 plus 201 artist proofs. Each one is hand numbered as to its place in the edition (i.e. 40/2001).
According to the Certificate of Authenticity on the back of the frame, the pin sets are exclusive to OFF THE PAGE; the store at the Animation attraction in Disney's California Adventure. Each pin has the edition number engraved in the back (except the Animation pin)
11/5/02 -Disney Auctions (on eBay) just sold 100 of these pin sets, on the same card with the sketches, but unframed. Final price was $38.00. Auction ended on Oct 31, 2002.
