"With the debut of the "new" Fantasyland, the Village Haus Restaurant opened to Guests on May 25, 1983. First known as Village Inn Restaurant, the restaurant's intricate European woodwork and stained glass windows create a cozy dining atmosphere. Young children and families delight in sitting near huge colorful murals of Pinocchio and his friends. Each of the murals depicts part of the tale of the little wooden puppet who wanted to be a real boy.
In 1994, pizza and pasta were added to the menu that included hamburgers and French fries."
