Front Description

This is one of 12 filmstrip pins that Walt Disney World released for its "Mickey Through The Years" series.

 

This pin features Mickey Mouse as a detective from the "Lonesome Ghosts" cartoon. He faces right, his left hand at his orange detectives hat and his right hand extended behind him. He is white-faced and pie-eyed. At the bottom of the pin is a gold-trimmed black flimstrip that folds downward at the right end. It has "LONESOME GHOSTS - 1937" in gold on it.

The pin measures 1 3/8" (34 mm) wide by 1 1/2" (39 mm) tall.

 

The backstamp has the 2000 Official Pin Trading logo on it. On the earliest pins released, there was no other marking. Disney quickly fixed the error by adding "Limited Edition 1200, © Disney, China" to the bottom of the other pins.
