Front Description
The large Minnie angel light display that hangs above the buildings of the Disney-MGM Studios backlot during the Spectacle of Lights is one of four pins in an extremely limited edition framed pin set (#16818) released during the Spectacle of Pins event in December 2002. The Peace On Earth framed set commemorates several of the lit pieces that hang near to the nativity scene which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
This double-post pin shows Minnie Mouse dressed in dark blue flowing angel robe; her arms are extended out from her side and her wings are white outlines with a black background (as it would be seen from the ground by visitors). A white circle is around her head and she has a bow that looks like it could glow in the dark (though only the outline of the wings do). Sparkling lights adorn the pin throughout.
The pin measures 1 7/8" (48 mm) wide and 1 5/8" (41 mm) tall. The back has both the Spectacle of Pins logo and the 2002 Official Pin Trading logo, along with "© DISNEY, MADE IN CHINA" and in a separate area "Limited Edition of 15."
