Dave Smith, director of the Walt Disney Company Archives and long-time Disney Historian, has selected the top 20 moments in Disney Theme Park History. This pin celebrates the first Disney Theme Park located outside the United States of America - Tokyo Disneyland® Park. This destination opened in Urayasu, just outside of Tokyo, Japan on April 15, 1983.

 

This pin features Mickey Mouse on one side of the spinner; the Dave Smith Collection logo and the "1st" are pin-on-pin. This is the eleventh pin out of 20 in the Dave Smith collection. The text reads "Disney" in Japanese.
