Front Description
In the 1950s and '60s, millions of children rushed home from school each day for the Mickey Mouse Club. In the show's opening, Huey, Dewey and Louie - Donald Duck's nephews - would rise up, cheering from behind an image of the club's logo. It is one of a five-pin framed set (#45188) commemorating the 45th anniversary of the Mickey Mouse Club on television.
Here, Donald's nephews are dressed in steel blue and rising up from behind a sign with a 45th Anniversary logo of the Mickey Mouse Club. The logo is the original red, black and white with pink-faced Mickey logo with an additional yellow circle outside. On the yellow circle is "Walt Disney's" at the top, "1955" to the left, "2000" to the right and "45th ANNIVERSARY" at the bottom, all in black. It is, in turn, on a beige rectangular background with yellow curtain rod at the top and yellow cords on both sides.
It is the largest pin in the set, measuring 2 1/4" (56 mm) wide by just under 3" (75 mm) tall. The backstamp has, "© DISNEY, LIMITED EDITION ###/1000, CHINA." (### being whatever number of the edition size it was).
