They were all the rage back in the 1950s and '60s...the original Mickey Mouse Club ears. This is one of five pins released as part of a framed set (#45188) commemorating the 45th anniversary of the Mickey Mouse Club on television.
The ears on this hat seem large (were the original hats' ears larger than what we see today?). On the left ear, in yellow, is Walt Disney's signature. On the right side, also in yellow, is "MICKEY MOUSE CLUB." On the forehead part of this black hat is the red, black, white and pink Mickey Mouse Club logo with Mickey's face on it.
The pin measures 3" (76 mm) wide by 1 3/4" (44 mm) tall. The backstamp has, "© DISNEY, LIMITED EDITION ###/1000, CHINA." (### being whatever number of the edition size it was).
