Not sure of the origins of this badge. Never seen another piece like it.
The badge is a classic six pointed silver sheriff's star with round ball ends. It says Sheriff in the center in gold. On the back it says (c) DISNEY.
One member adds: The Disneyland Frontierland Sheriff / Marshal was in place in the 1960s and 1970s. At that time, Disney copyrights typically were (c) Walt Disney Productions (or WDP, W.D.P., W. D. Prod., W. Disney Prod., or Walt Disney Prod.).
The copyright (c)Disney came around in the 1980s (after Disney officially changed its name).
