Front Description
This Limited Edition pin contains pieces of halberd props used in the classic Disney Attraction "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride." A halberd is a type of weapon used against opponents wearing armor. This attraction operated at the Magic Kingdom® Park from October 1, 1971 to September 7, 1998. Rachael Sur from Disney Design Group created the artwork for this pin.
Mr. Toad is in his red motorcar, tipping his hat and holding a cane, driving past a signpost pointing the way to "Not So Shire", "? Shire", "Worcestershire" and "Toad in the Hole". There is a banner across the top of the pin with "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" and his family crest in the centre. The car is on a cobblestone road with green pastures behind.
This is the fourth pin in the Piece of Disney History 2006 collection. This pin will not be available via Walt Disney World® Mail Order.
