In September 2006, Walt Disney World hosted a pin event at Epcot. The theme of this event was “It All Started with Walt” and featured a series of pins honoring Disney films, theme parks and characters. 
Walt Disney thought animation offered "a medium of storytelling and visual entertainment" which could make people of all ages happy. This Limited Edition pin features some of Walt's characters Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. The animator's sketch pad is a spinner, and the pin measures approximately 1.85" wide by 1.85" tall, and is part of the "Entertainer Series."

 

This pin was designed by Disney Design Group artist Glenn Winters.
