Front Description

Walt Disney's visionary use of Audio-Animatronics® Figures lead to the creation of the classic Disney Attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean. This attraction opened at Disneyland® Park on March 18, 1967. This Limited Edition pin features a pirate with a hinged arm holding a sword and fabric beard. The ship's canon is a pin-on-pin; the smoke cloud will feature a pearlized fill. The pin will measure approximately 2" wide by 2.25" tall, and is part of the "Visionary Series." This Pirate was replaced by Barbossa in the movie overlay.

 

This pin was designed by Disney Design Group artist Glenn Winters.
