Walt Disney's innovative spirit lead to the impressive design of Disney's Contemporary Resort. This Walt Disney World® Resort opened on October 1, 1971 featuring a Monorail boarding station inside the hotel. Mickey Mouse is a pin-on-pin, while the Monorail (Mark I (1) and Mark VI (6)) is a slider. One side features the original, Disneyland® Monorail; the other side features the current Walt Disney World® Model. This pin measures approximately 2.1" wide by 1.7" tall, and is part of the "Innovator Series."

 

This pin was designed by Disney Design Group artist Steve Zollman.
