Front Description

The Skeleton King on his Horse is one of the damned souls called forth by Chernabog, the slavic god of evil, in the eight-pin framed set (#26382) created for the Disney Gallery to commemorate the "Night on Bald Mountain" segment of Fantasia.

 

This is an intricately cut and detailed pin. The Skeleton King, facing left, rides astride his skeleton horse, which is gallopping across the night. The King has white and black fabric slapping in the wind behind him. The pin is done primarily in black and white, with a small amount of greys to provide shading.

 

The pin measures a large 2 3/4" (70 mm) wide by 1 7/8" (47 mm) tall as measured from the position of the pin as mounted on the framed set. The backstamp has the Disney Catalog logo, plus "Limited Edition 1500, © Disney, China."
