Front Description

A Witch Riding a Broom is one of the damned souls called forth by Chernabog, the slavic god of evil, in the eight-pin framed set (#26382) created for the Disney Gallery to commemorate the "Night on Bald Mountain" segment of Fantasia.

 

This is an intricately cut and detailed pin. The Witch, facing left, sits astride a broom, flying to the left. The woman is naked, though not detailed heavily, her hair flying in the wind behind her. She wears a long flowing robe which whips in the wind behind her. The pin is done primarily in greys / silver, with a touch of dark brown as hair background, with a silver metal.

 

The pin measures a large 2 5/8" (68 mm) wide by 1 5/8" (42 mm) tall as measured from the position of the pin as mounted on the framed set. The backstamp has the Disney Catalog logo, plus "Limited Edition 1500, © Disney, China."
