The Walt Disney Originals Collection pays tribute to Walt Disney's pioneering achievements in great family entertainment. A new Limited Edition pin will be released each month throughout 2006.
This Limited Edition pin celebrates Walt Disney's True-Life Adventures. Walt Disney's True-Life Adventures were a series of thirteen nature films released between 1948 and 1960. These films paved the way for nature documentaries that are found today. This pin was designed by Disney Design Group Artist Glenn Winters.
The pin is bronze colored and resembles a compass. The center is a hinged cover that looks like the earth in blue and green. Blue text across this cover reads "True-Life Adventures". When the cover is lifted, there is a black and white photo of Walt inside. He is looking at a bird (?).
