Jack Skellington's faithful pet Zero frolics alongside his tombstone on this delightful gold-finished pin prototype, which preceded a limited edition of 500 black-metal pins based on Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Developed exclusively for Disney's Purchase It Now Store at DisneyAuctions.com, only four of these gold-finished prototype pins were produced.
MATERIALS: hard enamel.
Zero the ghostly dog is floating in front of a doghouse-shaped crypt with a cross on top and ZERO written on the front in black letters -- there is a dog skull-and-crossbones on the door. The background is a design of grey/gray spirals/swirls. There are three white skulls: one in each of the bottom corners, and one centered on the top. The top of the pin is a cemetery fence with spikes and each corner has scrollwork and a spike. Part of the Nightmare Before Christmas character portrait series.
