Flashing his broad skeletal grin, Pumpkin King Jack Skellington strikes a formal pose for this "framed" portrait-style gold-finished pin prototype, which preceded a limited edition of 500 black-metal pins based on Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Developed exclusively for Disney's Purchase It Now Store at DisneyAuctions.com, only four of these gold-finished prototype pins were produced.
MATERIALS: hard enamel.
Jack is smiling and standing with his head tilted to the side, and his arms are crossed. The frame has spider webs inside it making an oval for Jack's portrait. There is gold scrollwork at the top and bottom of the pin, with a gold bat at the top of the frame above Jack's head. Part of the Nightmare Before Christmas character portrait series.
