Front Description
This pin was purchased on the secondary market and was advertized as the Artist Proof for the Villainesses pin in Framed set #18430 because the back of the pin just had ' /500'. It had been acquired from a from a former Disney Animation employee.
The villains presented in this pin are: Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Lady Tremaine (Cinderella), Madame Medusa (The Rescuer's), Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmatians), the Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland), the Wicked Queen and the Old Hag (Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs).
There are two posts on back, vertical down the center, near top and bottom. About a half an inch above the bottom post is a box which has inside:

The '500' is 3x taller than either line above it.
I have the framed set, and this pin looks to be identical to the one in it. I was not inclined to open up the back of the framed set to examine the back of the pin.
Can someone confirm what is on the back of the pin from the actual framed set, particularly if the pin is individually numbered? If the back of the pin from the framed set isn't numbered like the mat in the framed set is numbered, then perhaps this pin should be re-categorized as just the pin from the framed set instead of as a prototype.
