This is a Prototype of Pin #49134 that was never sold to the general public. This Artist Proof (AP) was a gift to one lucky winner at the "It All Started With ... Walt" pin event.
The dragon Maleficent does her very worst against the valiant Prince Phillip on this elegant, gold-finished character pin, a Disney Auctions exclusive in a limited edition of 100 super jumbo, dimensional, multilayer pins inspired by Walt Disney's 1959 animated classic Sleeping Beauty. Arriving in its own, very special collector's box, this is one of a very limited number of super jumbo pins that will be offered by Disney Auctions.
MATERIALS: base metal, hard enamel.
Maleficent, as the large fire-breathing dragon, is shooting green flames at Sleeping Beauty's Prince Phillip. Phillip is riding a white horse, and is using a blue shield to block the flames - he has his sword in his right hand. They are fighting on a black stone bridge.
SIZE: approx. 5.75" H x 6" W.
