Wishes once thought impossible may just come true at Walt Disney World® Resort and Disneyland® Resort. Over a million dreams will be randomly awarded by Disney Cast Members during the The Year of a Million Dreams celebration.
A Silver Lanyard was created especially for Walt Disney World® Resort. The lanyard contain two pins - one is this one with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. The characters are dressed in new Where Dreams Come True attire. This item will not be sold in stores and will only be awarded at random to Guests.
The Year of a Million Dreams pin has Mickey on the right and Minnie on the left of a circular design (center) which shows Cinderella's Castle and a banner across the bottom which reads "The Year of a Million Dreams." On the top of the arc of the circle it reads "Where my dream came true." And on the bottom it says Walt Disney World. The pin is primarily blue and white with silver highlights. Mickey and Minnie are dressed in various shades of blue and Mickey appears to have black tuxedo pants on.
A fake of this pin was being sold in 2006-7 which had no writing on the circle or blue banner and an HKDL backstamp. The pin was never released at Hong Kong or without the text.
Back Description
The back is silver sand blasted metal with pin trading logo, flat metal box with text "Where dreams come true! Exclusive Year of a Million Dreams Pin Disney China"
