PP508    Pirate Mickey - Parrot on Arm

Released in the 1990s and sold with this backstamp through 2001, at least, this real-cloisonne pin features Pirate Mickey with a parrot on his arm. He has a hook on one hand. He wears a red bandana with yellow polka dots on his head. There is a blue patch over one eye.

Fakes include a gold back with Limited Edition stamped on it, a silver back, color differences and enamel imperfections. Many of the fakes have 2004, 2005 and 2006 backstamps on them. Authentic pins are real cloisonne.
