Front Description
Ariel, from the Little Mermaid, with red hair flowing behind her, is sitting on the Disney Channel logo. Facing to her left, she appears to be holding a bouquet of green seaweed. Bikini top is lavender, the same color as the Mickey head in the logo, trimmed in silver.
This pin is a prototype of Pin 16378 and only 8 were made in this color metal. One is kept in Disney archives, one was given to the designer, 2 were given to friends of the designer, 2 were given to a CM and the other 2 were kept by the manager in charge of the requisition for the purchase of all CM Disney Channel pins.
Pin is 1 ½ inches high and 1 ¼ inches wide. Silver back is marked DISNEY.
